Hey friends, Samsung Galaxy S4 got Android 4.3 Android OS update as latest news but I want to tell you that samsung are making Android 4.2.2 update officially for Samsung Galaxy Grand GT-I9082 . Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082 has finally got Android 4.2.2 update. But it's very late dear Samsung. Many devices got 4.2 updates, even IiMicromax A116 Canvas HD. This device was released few months ago with Android 4.1 JellyBean as stock. 4.2 will be having Touchwiz UI, I like it but many don't, don't know why! The new updates comes with many improvements like it's fast and responsive. It comes with new features like transparent notification bar, Smart Stay, Light effect by unlocking, Page Buddy and Day dream. Many people had problem with battery draining and it's now solved in Android 4.2 means battery backup is now better. Android 4.3 offers you some of the cool features which Android 4.0/4.1 are not having. It is fully working as it's an official update by the vendor. This ROM is not rooted so it will unroot your device (it won't remove custom recovery so you might flash any other ROM). It's pure AOSP and is not touched by any developer. After some days or might be months, Google is going to roll out Android 4.3 and even that might be ported to Galaxy Grand. It's for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos only so dont try to install it in Galaxy Grand it moght brick but I don't think it will brick, just one SIM won't work, you can try this onyour responsibility!
1. Make a nandroid backup via ClockWorkMod and backup your applications and other data via 3rd party applications available on Google Play Store

6. Add __CODE_I9082XXUBMF2_871997_REV05_user_mid_noship.tar__ at CODE section
7. Add CSC_OXA_I9082OXABMF2_871997_REV05___user_mid_noship.tar.md5 to CSC section
8. Add MODEM_I9082XXUBMF2_REV05.tar.md5 to MODEM section
9. Add baffin.pit__ to PIT section
10. See that re-partition is checked, if it's not checked, then click on it to tick it
11. Now click on the Start button and wait till process ends. Don't remove USB in any case, it can bricked Grand Duos. After the process end, you see a sign that process is complete then unplug your device.
Now, reboot your device and you will be in the world of Android 4.2. It will take some time to reboot and it will be longer than the normal time because OS needs to build caches. Tell us do you like Android 4.2 by commenting here :)
