There's a shocking news for android users. Android might be blocked in India. Over 50 lakh people using Android devices, many many are build on Android and are selling rapidly in India. Micromax Canvas 4 is best selling phone in India. There are many adult application available on Play Store and one can download them without notification. And that's the reason why Android MIGHT be blocked in India. Our telecom minister Kapil Sibal was talking on this topic with the media. He said Android should be blocked in India due to child porn and other application containing obscene contents on Play Store.
Kapil Sibal (telcom minister of India) said-
This is what Google spokesman replied to Sibal. And Google seriously don't like child pornography. Google gave over 2 Billions dollars to stop child pornography.
Google should delete the accounts of the one who uploads these kinds of applications. And, if you have a children at your home, you can filter the content by going to settings of Play Store.

The government are planning to remove sites which are carrying obscene content. Don't know why Kapil said this only to Android, iOS also might be having some of obscene contents.

Kapil Sibal (telcom minister of India) said-
I want you people to suggest how can we close it. If we want to close it, you will attack us. I want all the media to come together and tell the minister how to deal with it so that if I do something about it, you don’t attack me,” Sibal told reporters in response to a query on the government’s action to adult applications on Android platform.when he contacted to Google. And then Google said the company builds tools and controls into products that help people manage their online experience.
Google Play developer program policy does not allow content that contains nudity, graphic sex acts, or sexually explicit material. Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography
