Hey friends, so are you planing to try brand new ROM CyanoMax? I tried this ROM and installed it. My internet is very slow. I planned to write this yesterday but due to slow net, I cannot download it yesterday. Okay, lets be on the topic.
This ROM is stuffed with features and with great UI. The best part I liked in this ROM is UI, edge cutting and very clear UI is in this ROM. The SmartScreen dialer is amazing. The In-Call UI is also very nice and the statusbar, no words!
Notification bar and Settings are having swipe to move UI which is very nice to use. It is same as MTK devices.
The settings is nicely sorted in four categories i.e., Phone, System and Personal.
Themes, you can apply over thousands themes for this ROM, who don't wants this! pink, green, blue, MiUi, Lewa OS or any theme you can like.
The most exciting news is that, 5 MegaPixels camera work in Mokee OS and even 12 MegaPixels camera also works in this ROM. 5 MegaPixel camera captures much much better picture than stock 2 MegaPixels of camera. This is news I read on Facebook group, I tried 5 MegaPixels camera By the way.
The lockscreen is better than stock lock screen. It looks like Ice Cream Sandwich and the lock screen is not an application. It is built-in lock screen, no lags at all and simply awesome.
In this ROM you can select where to install application when it prompts to install the application or not and that's amazing, Micromax A87 is having 200 MB space for data and over 50 MB is occupied by Android OS, so 150 MB lefts and we cannot install some applications in it, so you can move them in SD card instantly.
The launcher provided (as stock) is very good. Fast and stable. It looks like Go-Launcher EX. It can also be customized by going in settings and editing it's settings.
Messanging application is also improved. Now, you can instantly write messages to your beloved ones. It is not like old crap slow application.
There are many animations in this ROM. The best animation I like is CRT animation. There is control over animations too! you can adjust the timings of loading of animations.
I tried many applications and haven't faced any lags. This ROM is having many features but it does not means that it will lag. Some said they face lag, if you face any lags, use this guide- Increase RAM of Android by RAMEXPANDER.
What I didn't liked about this ROM
This is by mistake and please don't say anything to developer. You can download keyboard apps from your computer and place on SD card and install it!
CyanogenMod is highly customizable but you need that application to customize but this does not work in Mokee OS, I was actually excited to try that only. But no problem, It has many other customizations.
