The Samsung Galaxy S3 has just received approval from Verizon for a major update to build VRBMD3. The 129 MB update includes a solid list of improvements including multi-screen and multi-window multitasking, Best Shot camera mode, better people tagging in photos, S Beam Auto Share Shot, and a image gallery. Bug fixes include a more stable Hotspot experience, improved lock screen function, easier to turner on NFC, and a change to “Close All” instead of “Remove All” in the task manager menu.

The only thing we don’t know is when this update is scheduled to rollout. The good news is that usually an update is released only days after the support documents have been published. At this point it’s no longer a matter of if, just a matter of when.
