Dell India on Tuesday launched XPS 13, which happens to be an ultrabook. Mr. Mahesh Bhalla, the general manager for consumer and SMB said, addressing the media, “The XPS 13 is now available at Dell exclusive stores, large format retail stores and partners nationwide at startingprice of Rs. 79,900 plus, excluding taxes. It offers enterprise ready features for professionals enabling them power to connect, collaborate and innovate”. According to hithe main aim of the company is to let the users feel the experience the generally the executives demand.
Here we would like to inform the readers that the XPS 13 is available in three avatars and the price range starts from INR 79,900; you can buy them from any Dell Exclusive Showroom or from their partner outlets.
The XPS 13 has entered the market with Second generation Corei5 and Core i7 processors, which is complimented by 4 GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM. There are two versions of the storage capacity: 128GB and 256GB solid state drive. The slim and suave device comes packed with Intel QS67 chipset.
The XPS 13 comes preloaded with the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. The Dimension of the XPS 13 is 316x205x6-18 mm.
In the camera segment the XPS 13 comes with 1.3 MP webcam with dual array digital series microphone. The device has a 6 cell 47 WHr Li-polymer battery; the battery is capable to give the users a work time of 8 hours and 53 minutes at the maximum. In addition it has got Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0, USB3.0 (1) and USB 2.0.
Other hardware include HD+ speakers of 1.5 W (2), Intel HD 3000 graphic video card. The XPS 13 has a standard full size chiclet keyboard. In the display section it has a 13inch HD true life WLED display. Lastly in the productivity and entertainment section it offers the users Adobe Reader X, Microsoft Office Starter (reduced–functionality versions of Word and Excel with advertising), WebCam Central, Skype with H.264 enablement, Skyhook (post launch), Internet Explorer, Windows Live Essentials Wave 4, McAfee SecurityCenter trial, Dell DataSafe, Dell Stage.
