On 8-JULY-2011 Friday, A set of coins ie 50paisa, Re1,2,5,10 and Rs10 notes bearing the unique Rupee identity will be launched by Indian finance minister Pranab Mukherjee.
With this, India will become the second country in the world after England to have its currency symbol printed on its currency.
