Broadcom-powered quad-core Xolo Opus Q1000 up for pre-order for Rs 9,999

Last month, Xolo had announced that Broadcom will be powering its next smartphone called Q1000 Opus. And now the very same Broadcom-powered smartphone has gone up for pre-order for Rs 9,999. It is listed on popular e-commerce sites Flipkart and Infibeam. Both sites reveal that the device will be shipped in the third week of December. The Xolo Opus Q1000 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, so performance should be on par with most other Indian quad-core handsets. The dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Sporting a large 5-inch display, it features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing VGA camera. On the connectivity front, it comes with support for Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS, EDGE along with Bluetooth and GPS with A-GPS support. So this is about the usual set of features we expect in a sub-Rs 10,000 smartphone.
