WB Games has teamed up with the folks over at Humble Bundle to introduce a new game bundle. Dubbed the Humble WB Games Bundle, it is a pay-what-you-want bundle of some of the biggest games of the last few years, including Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, FEAR 2: Project Origin, FEAR 3 and Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Paying over the average, which at the time of writing sits at $4.61 (Rs 284 approx), will get you Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition and Scribblenauts Unlimited.Sadly enough, the bundle is Windows-only, since none of these games were released on other operating system. The games up for grabs are only available through Steam, and picking the bundle up will get you Steam codes for them. Instead of the usual EFF and Child’s Play charities, the charity of choice this time around is DC’s own We Can Be Heroes.
The We Can Be Heroes campaign was designed to raise awareness and funds needed to fight the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa and bring help to eight million people. DC claims that since the launch of the campaign, the charity has helped more than five million people in the Horn of Africa. Funds raised through the campaign support humanitarian aid organisations, including Save the Children, International Rescue Committee and Mercy Corps. Currently, the bundle has earned more than $1.4 million with the number of purchases sitting at 305,414. Funnily enough, one of the highest contributions for the bundle was made by someone going by the alias Bruce Wayne (definitely not Batman) with $2,100.
