Nokia Lumia 1520 details leaked on Chinese online store just ahead of launch

In the past couple of months, the Lumia 1520 has made its presence felt frequently via leaks and rumours. Spotted by Engadget, this first ever phablet from Nokia, once again, makes its appearance on a Chinese online store called Tmall. This leak comes just a day before its official launch at the Nokia world event in Abu Dhabi. The listing doesn’t show any image of the phablet but some specs are almost similar to what we’d expect from the Lumia 1520. It includes specs such as a 6-inch 1080p display and a gigantic 20 megapixel camera, likely to be the next version of the PureView camera. It also shows the Snapdragon 800 CPU that is rumoured to power the Lumia 1520. Tmall has priced the Lumia 1520 at 4,999 Yuan which is approximately Rs 50,000.

Going by the earlier leaks, the Lumia 1520 will be running the GDR3 update of Windows Phone 8, optimised for 1080p devices. It brings an extra column of live tiles on the Start Screen. Some other rumoured features are 32GB of storage, microSD card slot and 2GB of RAM. Along with the Lumia 1520, Nokia is also expected to launch its first ever Windows tablet called Lumia 2520, earlier codenamed Sirius. While no official specs are out yet, a lot has already been said and written about the Nokia tablet too via rumours and leaks. Some of these leaked specs are Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 10.1 inch 1080p IPS display, 6.7 megapixel rear camera, 32GB internal memory and obviously Windows RT OS.
