After a string of leaks and rumours, HTC pulled the wraps off the One Max earlier this month. Though there is no word on when the device will reach the Indian shores, a little digging shows that the pricing of the One Max will be Rs 45,999. Online retailer Saholic has listed the device and the official status says “coming soon”, but a quick skim through the HTML source code shows that it will change to display the price as soon as the device is officially launched in India. However, it may not necessarily be the final price and could change. If this pricing is to be believed than the One Max will be priced cheaper than the One. Now, it is quite likely that the HTC One Max will be cheaper than the One because a 5.9-inch Full HD display is easier and probably cheaper to mass produce as compared to the Full HD 4.7-inch display. Apart from a bigger display, battery and the fingerprint sensor, most of its specs are similar to the One Dual SIM.
Source code reveals the price
The company’s flagship One is selling online for a price around Rs 48,000 to Rs 49,000. The One Max is the company’s answer to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
