LG G2 launched in India for Rs 41,500

LG has announced the pricing for its latest flagship handset, the G2. The company revealed at the G2 launch event today that the 16GB variant of the smartphone will be available for Rs 41,500 when it launches in India. The 32GB variant will cost Rs 43,500. This is surprising, as there is only a difference of Rs 2,000 between the two variants. We so no reason why the people would buy the 16GB variant over the 32GB one. Stay tuned for the official release date.A quick look at the specifications reveals that the handset will come with an 8.9mm frame and will run on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. The G2 will sport a 5.2-inch full HD display and also pack Graphic (GRAM) technology to reduce the display’s energy use by up to 26 percent on a still frame. Internally, the smartphone packs a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with four Krait CPUs and 2GB of RAM. Rounding up the package for the G2 is a 3,000 mAh battery.
