Samsung has officially launched its new Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A rugged Android Smartphone in Korea. The company was already launched Galaxy S4 Active in Korea back in June. Now it comes with LTE Advanced Support, Snapdragon 800 Processor and IP67 Certified for dust and water resistance. Detailed Specifications are below.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has a 5-inch full HD TFT Capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels screen resolution at 441PPI. It also comes with Multi-Touch Support, Sensitive Touchscreen and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 Protection. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System along with Samsung’s TouchWiz User-Interface. It is powered by 2.3GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor paired with Adreno 330 Graphics. The device comes with IP67 certification for dust and water resistant, water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It also comes with physical buttons on front for menu, home and back.
The Smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Auto focus, LED flash, BSI Sensor, HDR, aqua more and 1080p HD video shot support. There is a 2-megapixel front facing camera with HD shot. The device equipped with 2GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB Internal Memory along with Expandable up to 64GB with MicroSD.
The device packed with 4G LTE Advanced Cat4 Support, that gives you up to 150Mbps (Downlink) and up to 50Mbps (uplink). Other Connectivity features are 3G HSPA+, WI-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC, dual-band, DLNA, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, NFC, MicroUSB 2.0 and A-GPS along with GLONASS Support. It has 2600 mAh battery.
