iBall has expanded its Andi smartphone range with the new Andi 5.5N2 Quadro. The smartphone is now available online for Rs 13,215. eBay is selling it for Rs 14,249. Snapdeal claims to dispatch the device in two working days while eBay shows estimated delivery date of December 14. ShopClues, who is also selling the device for Rs 13,799 claims to ship it in 5-7 working days. The iBall Andi 5.5N2 Quadro is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The chipset maker or architecture has not been specified. The dual SIM (GSM + GSM) phone sports a massive 5.5-inch HD display and includes a removable battery.

The phablet comes equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Andi 5.5N2 supports 3G as well as Wi-Fi. The 4GB onboard storage can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. All of this is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery.

In terms of design, there's nothing to differentiate the new iBall smartphone from the rest of the Indian brigade. The white body seen in the official images is reminiscent of dozens of devices we have seen in the past, not only from other companies, but iBall too.

Here’s another look at key specs:

  • 5.5-inch HD IPS with 720x1280 pixels of resolution

  • Dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi

  • Bluetooth, GPS

  • 12-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera

  • 4GB onboard storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot

Just two weeks back, we’d seen the Andi 5 E7 dual-core phablet from iBall priced at Rs 6,999. Sporting a 5-inch FWVGA display, the dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor coupled with 512MB RAM. Some other features include 4GB onboard storage, microSD card slot and 5-megapixel rear camera. Last month, the company had also launched the Andi 4.5z for Rs 7,499.
