The South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation, Life's Good and Optus, the second largest telecommunications company from Australia has officially unveiled a new low-end Android smartphone, the successor to it's previous L2, the LG L2 II.
The updated L2 II still packs a single core processor, a 3.2-inches IPS screen of QVGA 240 x 320 resolution display, 3.2 megapixels primary camera, dual-SIM support, lacking of 3G connectivity, still on second generation (2G) and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board. The unit also carries a dedicated SIM card 'Quick Switch' button for easing the process of switching between primary and secondary SIM cards.
The smartphone is available for sales from the South Korean's and the partnered Aussie carrier Optus, exclusively to the company's pre-paid customers. The handset is priced at 93 US Dollars, with a new pre-paid SIM card. The Australian carrier locks the primary SIM slot to it's branding, where the other slot can be used with others, only for calling and messaging, not internet. Well, if you want to unlock the primary slot, you will need to pay another 75 United States Dollars if your a pre-paid customer or $23 is you have been using the Optus connection since past 6 months or more.
