There’s a new Humble Bundle in town, and since it has Android in the name, it features games for PC, Mac, Linux and—you guessed it—Android. Up for grabs this time are Ticket to Ride, Greed Corp, Incredipede and Anodyne. Paying over the average for the pay-what-you-want bundle, which currently sits at $6.20 (Rs 382 approx), will get you a couple of extra games—Worms Reloaded and The Bard’s Tale. Apparently, the bundle will be getting more games as time goes on, and if you buy it now, these will be retroactively added to your list. Currently, the bundle sits on $580,768.90 with more than 93,000 purchases. The bundle will be up for 12 more days.Ticket to Ride, which also includes the USA 1910 DLC, is based on the board game of the same name. It revolves around players attempting to take over the US railroad industry by placing tracks all over the country and connecting cities. The boardgame itself was quite a hit, and the mobile version has been critically acclaimed for faithfully recreating the gameplay.
Greed Corp is a real-time strategy game set on a hex-based board. It features an industrial aesthetic, and players will find the art style quite similar to that found in the PlayStation Portable classic Jeane d’Arc. A unique aspect of the game is turning the ground your characters walk on into a finite resource. Tiles will collapse as characters walk over them, making the battlezone essentially shrink.Incredipede is a unique side-scrolling puzzle game where the puzzles mostly involve players making hideous affronts to nature. Players control Quozzle the incredipede, as she journeys through nature on a quest to find her long-lost sisters.Anodyne is a 2D puzzle-adventure game where players take on the role of Young, and explore his uneasy subconsciousness. Armed with a broom, Young goes off to protect the Briar from The Darkness. The game is making its way to Android for the first time through the bundle.Worms Reloaded is a side-scrolling action game set in a confined arenas where players take turns to control each worm separately. The ultimate aim is to destroy all of the worms in the opposing teams. It features destructible landscapes and an arsenal of insane weapons, such as the Super Sheep or the Holy Hand Grenade. While the bundle has Reloaded for the computers, the Android version, Armageddon, is also included.
The Bard's Tale is a humourous parody of every fantasy game ever created. Instead of fighting for the greater good, players fight for the Bard's own selfish needs and cowardice. It was originally released back during the PlayStation 2 era, but has since been remade and ported to computers and smartphones.
