Not until 2014

In spite for the delays, the demand for Facebook video ads is reportedly very high. Currently the video ads are being delayed as Facebook knows the risk of upsetting its user base with the ads. Though there would be an option to turn off the audio, these auto-play ads could upset its viewers. Facebook wants time to evaluate how its users would react to such videos, says the report. Though the social giant hasn’t yet made anything official, some of its lucrative marketing partners are said to be American Express, Coca-Cola, Ford, Diageo and Nestle. Earlier this year, Jefferies & Co. had said that Video ads could become the next billion-dollar business for Facebook.

Facebook is also trying to broaden its effort to show ad payoff. It is reportedly is expanding a service that lets a group of major marketers measure the effectiveness of their ads, in the company's latest move to prove that advertising on the world's largest social network leads to real world sales.
