Intex Aqua I-5
Intex has launched the Aqua I-5, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Aqua range. It has a 5-inch qHD  (960 × 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 layer lenses, BSI Sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with one normal SIM slot and a micro SIM slot. It has Flip to mute, Voice screen unlock and FM radio.

Intex Technologies recently tied-up with ace-director, actor Farhan Akhtar who launched the mobile phone. He would also feature in the company’s commercial. The company said that they sold 7 lac handsets last month out of which 1 Lac phone were Aqua phones. The company aims sell 2 million Aqua Smartphones in FY 2013 – 14, targeting a rise of 300% in revenues from its mobility segment. The company has launched 12 mid range smartphones under its Aqua range and plans to launch 20 more during the next quarter.
