ClockworkMod Recovery has made its way to the Samsung Continuum smartphone and the users of the said device can now flash custom ROMs, Mods, Tweaks and all sorts of recovery flashable content through the CWM Recovery. We all know how painful it is to be stuck at an older version of Android, in this case, Android 2.2, when we’re hearing the news for Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. No more disappointments as in this guide, we’re gonna show you how you can install ClockworkMod Recovery on your Samsung Continuum and bump up your firmware version with a custom ROM. Sounds great? huh. So, here you go:

I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please check out our How to Root the Samsung Continuum procedure to root your device.
2. Your device needs to have at least 60% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:

3. Odin
III. Installing ClockworkMod Recovery on the Samsung Continuum:
1. Place all the files you downloaded to your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the Odin archive to your Desktop. Don’t extract the other archives, leave them as are.
3. Double-click on Odin executable file you extracted to your Desktop.
4. Click on PDA and select the ClockworkMod Recovery file you have on your Desktop.
5. Make sure that only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time boxes are checked in Odin.
6. Leave the Repartition box unchecked.
7. Turn OFF your device.
8. Reboot the device into Download mode. To do that, simply hold down the Volume DOWN+Power buttons together.
9. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
10. Click on Start button in the Odin and it’ll begin flashing the file.
11. Once the file’s flashed, your device will automatically reboot.
12. Once your device reboots, you should find it mounted inside your My Computer.
13. Now copy the Update ZIP file from your Desktop over to the root of your SD card.
14. Once the file’s copied, unplug your device from your PC.
15. Turn OFF your device.
16. Reboot the device into Recovery Mode. To do so, simply hold down the Volume UP+Volume DOWN+Power buttons together.
17. Choose apply update.zip option from the Recovery Menu.
18. It should flash the file on your device.
19. Once it’s done, reboot your device
20. You’re all set!
