I. Before You Begin
1. Make sure that you have backed up everything you feel is important before you begin.
2. Charge your device to 75% or more before you begin.
3. Ensure that the correct drivers are installed on your Windows 7 PC before you start; installing Kies usually takes care of this.

III. Installing ClockworkMod Recovery on the Droid Charge
1. Extract the Odin 1.85.rar file you downloaded above to a folder on your desktop.
2. From the extracted folder, double-click on Odin3 v1.85.exe to run the tool.
3. Put your device into Download mode. To do this:
i. Power down your device and remove the batteryii. Press and hold the volume button while connecting your device to your PC.iii. Put the battery back in once you see the yellow triangle with the Android logo.4. Click on PDA button, locate 0817_charge_recovery.tar.md5 you downloaded above and click on OK to load it on Odin.
5. Make sure that the Re-Partition and Flash Lock are unchecked; this is important as you might brick your device if these options are ticked! Also, uncheck Auto Reboot.
6. Click on Start.
7. Once Odin says PASS!, take out the battery and unplug the device.
8. Put the battery back in and start your device.
You should now be able to access CWM by holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons with the device off!
