Titanfall gets new trailers; mechas Ogre and Stryder detailed

One of the most anticipated games of next year, Titanfall has just got two new trailers that give us a glimpse at a couple of new Titans, the game’s protagonists. The Xbox ‘exclusive’ - a Windows PC version is also in the works - which will hit stores in March next year, is set to be one of the hero titles for the new Xbox One.

We know that Titanfall will feature some of the most badass mechas will feature Ogre, a hulking, heavily-armoured mecha that is powerful enough to rip off enemy mecha arms with ease. It also supposedly features better armour to take more of a beating, while still causing mayhem all around. Then there’s Stryder. If the Ogre is a slow-moving hulk, the Stryder is a sprinter. It can dodge missiles with ease and can quickly move around obstacles for surprise sneak attacks (as sneaky as a giant mecha can be that is) from the flanks. You can check out both the trailers here.

Also seen in these trailers is the fictional corporation that manufactures the Titans in the game. Hammond Robotics, which supposedly released the trailers, now has a totally legit-looking website and a Twitter account. In case you didn’t know we are itching to see Titanfall in action and already picked it as one of the games to watch out for on the Xbox One. But more than the game itself, we are dying for the Collector's Edition, which bundles a collectible 18-inch handcrafted Atlas titan statue with diorama and battery-powered LED lighting, a book featuring more than 190 pages of concept art, and a full-size schematic poster of the Atlas titan.
