Android Jelly Bean update for international variant of Samsung Galaxy S3 resumes

Samsung has once again started rolling out Android Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3 smartphone, just weeks after it stopped the rollout. The company has issued a statement that says that it was sorry for the inconvenience and the fix for the issues with Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean 4.3 upgrade has begun rolling out to selected users in the UK, and will continue to do so, reports BBC. The previous update was botched since it threw up several issues such as random freezing of the device, extensive battery drain, Bluetooth problems with the audio playback in the car, stuttered play and more.

The issues most affected users in the UK and US. This led to Samsung temporarily suspending the update and irking several users in the process. It is also believed that Samsung rushed in with the update to bring Galaxy Gear support or the S3. Samsung first rolled out Jelly Bean update for the S3, just a few days after the Android KitKat was launched. The new Android 4.3 update brings in new features such as Samsung KNOX security system, updated user interface, keyboard, notification center, new camera modes, and the Move-to-SD-card feature, among others.The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update reportedly now available for the Samsung Galaxy S3 in Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic (Vodafone), Ireland (Vodafone), Romania (Vodafone), Slovenia (Si.mobil), Switzerland (Swisscom), and the United Kingdom, and it will continue to rollout over-the-air over the next few weeks.
