Nvidia has launched its new GPU, dubbed the GeForce GTX 780 Ti. The GPU is essentially an upgrade to the current flagship GTX 780 which was launched earlier this year. The company claims that the game can offer smooth framerates for current and upcoming games, including Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Batman: Arkham Origins. Prices are expected to start at Rs 59,000 so it's in-between the GTX 780 and the GTX Titan. The GTX 780 Ti is powered by Nvidia’s own Kepler architecture, which currently powers most of Nvidia’s recent outings. It provides an advanced, low-thermal-density design that translates into better cooling, quieter acoustics and improved performance. It has an aluminium cover, an LED-backlit GeForce GTX logo and a clear polycarbonate window.

The GPU also includes dedicated frame metering hardware, which Nvidia claims will make sure the gamers will get consistent framerates in any game. It also supports the recently-launched G-Sync display technology, which hopes to eliminate screen tearing and reduce display stutter and input lag.It features 25 percent more cores than the GTX 780, includes 7Gbps of onboard memory and supports Nvidia’s GPU Boost 2.0 technology for greater customisation, overclocking and performance options. Nvidia claims that the 780 Ti offers a 21 percent performance boost over the 780. The GeForce GTX 780 Ti also supports Nvidia’s latest array of technologies, including PhysX and TXAA. It also scales with Nvidia’s SLI technology with support for up to four-way configurations. Each GeForce GTX GPU also includes the GeForce Experience software, which can automatically configure game settings to ensure the best overall experience, notifies gamers of software updates and automatically installs GeForce Game Ready.
