New leak hints at MediaTek octa-core powered Alcatel Idol X+ in the pipeline

TCL, the company known to churn out Alcatel smartphones, recently spoke about its upcoming flagship handset and its plans to partner with Chinese online retailer, JD.com. Now, GSMInsider has got its hands on the images of the alleged device, called the Alcatel Idol X+. The successor to the idol X will come with TCL branding for the first time. The Idol X+ packs in MediaTek’s new MT6592 real octa-core chipset that has created ripples in the tech world recently. The Idol X was launched under the One Touch series, but there is no word if the Idol X+ will follow suit.
