A new press render of the upcoming Moto G has now been spotted, thanks to prolific tipster @evleaks. Coming with a caption that simply reads “almost there”, we see the new handset's home screen shown, along with three different back panel colour options to pick from, blue, green and dark pink. The homescreen comes with the usual app launchers of Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube and the Play Store. Other essentials like Chrome, the dialer, Hangouts and the camera app shortcut can also be seen. From what is known so far, it is likely that the new handset will be the low-cost successor to the Moto X, and will be unveiled on November 13. There is currently no word on whether Google and Motorola plan to roll the Moto G for multiple markets, and it should be noted that the Moto X is officially available only in the US so far.

While the official specifications of the device are still unknown, various leaks have suggested that the handset will sport an S4 Pro SoC with the quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz. Also expected are a 4.7-inch 720p display, an 8-megapixel camera and an LG-made 1950mAh battery. The model is likely to come in two internal memory variants: 8GB and 16GB. GSMArena, however, reported that the device will run on Android 4.3 out-of-the-box and sport a smaller 4.5-inch screen, a 5-megapixel camera and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The report also came with a teaser photo from a UK-based retailer hinting at an official announcement on November 13. While the India price or availability has not been disclosed, it was indicated that the Moto G could come with a £134 (Rs 13,000 approx) price tag internationally.
