"We have an excellent relationship with Real Madrid and in fact we recently signed an agreement with its foundation," María Garaña, president of Microsoft España told Spanish television channel Antena 3, as reported by ESPN FC. “They've raised, as have other companies, renaming the stadium and we're only talking about this possibility."It has been reported that Madrid is pretty heavy in debt at around 541 million Euros according to some reports. Microsoft honcho Bill Gates is apparently negotiating a deal with the club’s President Florentino Perez, but the latter seems to be unwilling to make a decision anytime soon. The partnership – if it does move forward – will prove beneficial for both Microsoft and Real Madrid. The club that sports a star-studded line up needs a good sponsor at this point of time and Microsoft would love a stadium named after the company too. Besides, Windows Bernabéu doesn’t sound too shabby at all.
