Karbonn Titanium X spotted online with full HD display, quad-core CPU

A quick look at smartphone manufacturer Karbonn’s official website reveals that the company is gearing up for the launch of its first phone with a full HD display, the Titanium X. From what can be seen, it looks like the handset will pack a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device will come with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). In terms of photography, the handset will give users a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash as well as a 5-megapixel front shooter. The company has put NFC support in the Titanium X and rounds up the offering with a 2,300mAh battery. There is still no word on the RAM and memory of the new handset. The initial specs sheet shows that the device should be on par with rival Micromax’s recently launched Canvas Turbo.

While the company has still not announced an official release date for the new device, it is estimated that the Titanium X should be seen sometime soon. There is also no mention of the price at which this new handset will be made available at. Here’s a quick look at the specifications of the Karbonn Titanium X:

The company’s last addition to the Titanium series was the S9, which was launched in July for Rs 19,990. The device comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a pixel density of 267ppi. The handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Packing into the phablet is a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash as well as a 5-megapixel front shooter. The device comes with 16GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card slot. The dual-SIM handset comes with three sensors- an accelerometer, a proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor. Under the hood, the handset comes with a quad-core MediaTek MTK 6589 chip clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM.
