In a press release announcing the game’s first anniversary on the mobile platform, King announced that the game has become one of the most played title across the globe. The anniversary also marks some important landmarks for the game. There have been over 150 billion individual games of Candy Crush Saga played to date. The company says that as of now, one in every 23 Faebook users is a fan of Candy Crush Saga.

The most popular time that fans play Candy Crush Saga is between 6PM and 9PM in the evening, with 61 percent of players in the UK admitting they play the game most often while commuting on public transport.
