It’s been some time since iOS 7 hit iPhones all over the world, and one of the most important additions in the update, at least for gamers, has been the introduction of gamepad support. However, other than ClamCase, no company seems to have made controllers for the iPhone yet. Smartphone controller maker MOGA seems to be well on its way, though. Serial leaker @evleaks has tweeted an image of what seems to be a gaming control for the iPhone 5, 5c and 5s.The layout of the controller is quite similar to the Xbox 360, with the left analogue stick being over the d-pad while the right stick being below the face buttons. Even the colours of the face buttons are quite similar to the Xbox 360. They have, however, been repositioned. A is red, instead of the Xbox 360’s green, for instance. The control is apparently named MOGA Ace Power. All in all, the controller has two analogue sticks, four face buttons, a d-pad and trigger buttons.

Going by @evleak’s pictures, it looks like the iPhone will fit into the controller in landscape orientation, and will be connected to the controller through the lightning port. The controller will have its own battery, which should complement the iPhone quite well.Back in September, ClamCase had unveiled its own iPhone game controller, dubbed the GameCase. The Bluetooth device will come with its own battery supply, have dual-analog stick support, a directional pad as well as four buttons situated below what looks like an on/off switch. On the back of the controller, the device comes with an impressive-looking set of dual bumpers and triggers above rubberised grips. From the images so far, it looks like the device will give an overall controller layout that may just be comparable to the home console feel provided by gaming bigwigs Microsoft and Sony.
