Hands on with the LG G2

Hands on with the LG G2

After having brought you our first impressions of the G2, here’s a quick video hands on with the phone itself. This is LG’s latest flagship device to hit the Indian market after only recently being announced at IFA 2013. It’s available in two colour and storage options. The 16GB version is priced at Rs 41,500 while the 32GB version is priced at Rs 44,500. A quick look at the specifications reveals that the handset will come with an 8.9mm frame and will run on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. The G2 will sport a 5.2-inch full HD display and also pack Graphic (GRAM) technology to reduce the display’s energy use by up to 26 percent on a still frame. Internally, the smartphone packs a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with four Krait CPUs and 2GB of RAM. Rounding up the package for the G2 is a 3,000 mAh battery. The main USP for the LG G2, in our books, is the button-less design on the edges as the volume and power buttons feature on the back of the phone. The smartphone comes with all the usual connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. The handset also comes with support for GPS with A-GPS as well as GLONASS. Here’s a quick look at the specifications of the LG G2:

  • 5.2-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution

  • 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC

  • Bluetooth 4.0

  • GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS

  • 13 megapixel rear camera with autofocus, 2.1MP front-facing camera

  • 16GB or 32GB on-board storage
