Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut out now on PC; console version delayed

The much-awaited upgraded version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, bearing the Director’s Cut moniker, is out now. Sadly enough, if you want it on the consoles, you’ll have to wait till next week since it has been delayed because of some snags with local distributor e-xpress Interactive.


The PC version, however, is available through digital distribution platform Steam for $19.99 (Rs 1,230 approx). If you already own a copy of the game, you can get the extra goodies from Director’s Cut for $9.99 (Rs 613 approx), and if you already own the game with its DLCs, the Director’s Cut price goes down to $4.99 (Rs 306 approx).

Features like the 45-minute making-of video, over 8 hours of developer commentary, the official strategy guide, and New Game+ have also been added to the Director’s Cut.Boss fights have been completely overhauled and redesigned with new maps and mechanics to support each one of the gameplay pillars: Action, Stealth, and Hacking. Major enhancements have also been made to the game including a rebalanced energy system, updated enemy AI, and striking visual improvements which essentially make this edition the definitive Deus Ex experience.
