Spot your Facebook profile in a sea of a billions with The Faces of Facebook project

Have a few minutes to kill in office or at home? Here’s something that you will love if you’re a heavy Facebook user. A project called The Faces of Facebook puts every single Facebook user on one single page. As you must’ve guessed it, the pixels on the page are really miniscule and arranged in a fuzzy static screen of the television screen from the Doordarshan era and finding yourself would be a real mammoth task otherwise. However, the project allows you to connect your Facebook profile to pinpoint where exactly you stand in the grid.

The best bit is that it also shows you where your friends are on the page. While this seems like a fun way to plot your friends on the same chronological chart as you, be warned that you will have a tough time spotting the blotchy white spots denoting your friends in the sea of pixels on the page. The Faces of Facebook project plots all Facebook users ever – adding more by the second – on one single page. It was the brainchild of freelance designer Natalia Rojas. She assures on the website that she or this project was not breaking any rules of Facebook as far as privacy goes, since it does not store any private information, photos or real names.

“There we are, all mixed up: large families, women wearing burkas, many Leo Messis, people supporting same-sex marriages or r4bia, chihuahuas, Indian Gods, tourists pushing the leaning Tower of Pisa, selfies, newborns, Ferraris," Rojas writes about plotting every single Facebook user on one page. Makes you kind of wonder why we can’t just get along despite all our differences, right?
