- Open the Run dialog box by pressing Window R (button on the Windows logo image and the letters R)
- Type regedit and press Enter
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrrentControlSet \ Control and find items StorageDevicePolicies
- If there is no item StorageDevicePolicies, for the first line, like this:
name it be StorageDevicePolicies and right click
Select New -> DWORD and name it WriteProtect
Now we will see WriteProtect in the right window pane, double-click In the Value Data field change its value to 0 (zero)
Now Restart your system and try using a USB flashdisk.
If you do not know how to use the windows registry, you can use use the tool with name Remove Write-protect, download Remove Write-protect here, just right-click and select "Merge".
